We love first-time guests at WSS and we believe that you may arrive as our guest, but you will leave as a part of our church family. We want to love you, embrace you and welcome you as we share the love of Christ with you. It can, however, be intimidating coming into a new church environment for the first time. So, we want to share a few things about us that may be helpful and make it more comfortable for you.
We exist to love people, share Jesus, grow faith and celebrate God’s goodness.
LOVE
1 John 4:19( NIV) We love others because God first loved us when He gave his son, the most priceless gift of all....Jesus.
GROW
Luke 17:5 (NLT) 5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Show us how to increase our faith.”
CELEBRATE
1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV) Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

There is parking available on both sides of the sanctuary. There is also a covered portico on both sides if needed to drop off your loved ones at the door. You will notice our campus has several buildings. The larger building is used for Sunday services and the one behind it is for our Kidz Zone children’s church and Sunday School classes.
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. Worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. You may want to enjoy our “first Sunday of the month breakfast” and enjoy food and fellowship in the lobby from 9:00 a.m.
Upon entering our lobby, you will be greeted and given a heartfelt welcome by people who are so excited to see you & have you as our guest. They will be happy to answer any questions and direct you as needed. There are also signs on the hallway entrances directing you to the children’s building, restrooms, etc. There is worship service in the sanctuary and Kidz Zone Children’s Church in the educational building.
We are a family of people from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds coming together to worship Jesus and share Him with everyone; knowing His grace, mercy and love are what sustain us and enable us to face each day’s challenges. We are friendly, loving and welcoming to all.
We enjoy & enter into a time of worship with singing and ministry of the Word of God. Our music is eclectic in that we still sing hymns, but also worship with music that is contemporary as well. Music and singing are focused on worshiping Jesus and preparing our hearts for the Word of God through preaching that brings strength, encouragement, growth and challenge. There is altar ministry time afterward where you will be invited to respond for prayer if/as needed or desired.
No. We will invite you to complete a guest card. You will receive a welcome gift when that is returned. You will receive a follow up brief message, text, etc. thanking you for worshiping with us. Guests are not expected to participate in financial giving; but there are black boxes in the lobby giving station if you would like to participate. You will be invited with no pressure to come forward for prayer after the sermon. Our pastor, staff and altar workers will be privileged to pray with you at that time.
